The OurTown2000 program was designed for users to share printers within an office. Therefore, you must create individual report files for each user if they wish to print to individual printers.
First, log into the OurTown2000 client you want to change the preferences for as the user who uses this client. (Note: if using role based security, you may need to temporarily change the level of the user account to "Administrator" to access the following menu options).
On the main menu, go to Print->Preferences:

In the right hand panel there is a list of radio buttons:

Note the name of the report in the box next to Service (in this case, "Action Work Order") and close this screen.
On the main menu, select Print->Report Properties

This will bring up the Report Properties screen as below:

Use the "Browse Report Properties" button
to locate the report.

Right click on the report to select it.
Click on the "Make copy of current report properties" button
and confirm the copy.
Enter a filename for the new report IN ALL CAPS (if you don't use all caps, the report will still work, but will not display on the print preferences screen).

Now the new report will appear in the Report Properties Screen:

Click the "Select Default Printer for Report" button
and select the printer to which the user will print service requests.

You may want to edit the report by clicking the edit button
and change the name of the report to something more user friendly, ie "Aaron's Work Order"

Save
and close
this screen.
From the main menu, go back to Print->Preferences.

Click on the Service radio button in the right hand panel. Don't worry if this button is already selected. This will bring up a list of available report forms.

Click the Save Preferences button
at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
Now when the user prints a service request, it will print directly to their selected printer.
If you had to change the user's account level to administrator, change it back now.
